hallo zusammen

ich habe ein problem mit Delphi und IRC.
ich moechter per Indys zu nem server connecten, nen channel wahlen, und dann da schreiben und lesen koennen.
ich kann auch schon connecten, und kriege auch die MessageOfDay rein, aber dann kratzt mein programm immer ab.

Folgender error kommt:

Hat jemand ne ahnung was ich falsch mache?

dann noch ne frage. ich moechte das eigentlich per normalen TclientSocket machen, aber ich weiss nicht wie. ist es moeglich den genauen verlauf der indys zu protokollieren, also dass ich dann genau das einfach per TClientSocket machen kann?? oder hat jemand ne loesung so parat??

hallo,

ein Stack-Trace wäre net um den genauen Ursprung der AV zu kennen.

Laut Exception wird aber irgendwo auf einen NIL-Pointer zugegriffen (nicht instanziertes Objekt?)

links oben im bild ist ja der Aufruf-Stack. ist zwar etwas schwach, sollte aber lesbar sein.
oder ist das nicht das richtige?

der code ist auch schon im screenshot. alles was ich noch mache ist das was ich von indy per onraw empfange in ein memo zu schreiben. ich sehe dann im memo ganz viel text nacheinander, und plötzlich krieg ich den error. also der code in der onraw procedure:

memo1.lines.add(Amessage);

liegt es evtl. daran, dass das memo nur eine gewisse zahl an lines enthalten darf?

genau den code meine ich.

und nein, das memo hat nur die Einschränkung die jede 32-Bit-Software hat.

wie gesagt, der komplette source ist auf dem bild. ich hab den source nicht hier, aber im kopf habe ich ihn so:


das lasse ich dann laufen, dann bekomme ich die MessageOfDay vom server, und dann kackt das programm ab.
evtl. habe ich zu wenig optionen gesetzt? weil er verweist ja auf irgendein null oder?

falls niemand weiterweiss, schaue ich mir heute abend halt mal Indy9 an, evtl. geht’s mit denen...

weiss jetzt jemand, wie ich die error boxes von Indy unterdruecken kann? geht das ueberhaupt generell, dass einfach nie in nem programm nen error kommt, wenn die exe compiled ist?
