Moin, gibt es beim ClientDataSet soetwas wie autoincrement.
Ich denke, dass meine Datenbank soetwas wie einen Primarykey haben sollte, der bei jedem neuen Datensatz um einen hochgezählt werden sollte. Also soetwas wie eine ID für jeden Datensatz, um Datensätze editieren, löschen usw. zu können.

Habe soetwas leider nicht gefunden, vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja weiterhelfen.

Das ist Aufgabe der Datenbank und nicht des ClientDataSet. Wie die DB das löst, hängt davon ab, welche DB Du einsetzt.

Ich habe mit Hilfe des Feldeditors Felder angelegt und dann das ganze in eine MyBase-xml-Tabelle gespeichert.

Ich habe myBase nie verwendet, aber hier gibt es einen Hinweis, wie man AutoInc-Felder bei myBase anlegt:
