Wie kann cih mein Projekt so packen das man es dann auf nen rechner die Anwendung installieren kann. Das ist ein Delphiprojekt mit Datenbankanbindung.
Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen!

Nimm InstallShield, das ist auf der Delphi-CD drauf, damit kannst Du ziemlich einfach professionelle Setups erstellen, einfach mal rumprobiern.

nimm innosetup. das ist freeware und sehr komfortabel und ausserdem in delphi programmiert !!

Und was bedeutet das, @matze?
Muss jeder Delphi-Programmierer jetzt Inno Setup nehmen?
Wer die Arbeit nicht scheut, kann für kleine Projekte auch NSIS benutzen. Speziell die Kameraden von der WinAPI- und Konsolenfront dürften wohl aufstöhnen, wenn ihre <100k Programme in einem 200k-Setup landen.
Nichts gegen Inno Setup!
btw: Ich kenne übrigens auch den Autoren von einer guten Inno- und NSIS-Doku. Den sehe ich jeden Tag im Spiegel ... *kicher* ...

Da bleibt laut Borland-Lizenzbestimmungen ja nur InstallShield Express - ist aber auf der Delphi-CD mit drauf.
Wo ist hier eigentlich ein Problem?

Stimmt. Für Datenbank-Programme sind von Borland nur spezielle Setups zugelassen, u.a. auch IS Express. Eine inoffizielle Lösung gibt´s IMHO aber auch für Inno Setup.
@Dietmar: Hat jemand was von einem Problem gesagt?

NSIS ... auf jeden fall NSIS!!
der ganze overhead vom installshield ist doch total bescheuert.. und wenn du irgendwelche dinge tun möchtest die sich nicht damit lösen lassen kannst du selbst geschriebene dll`s nachladen. by the way kannst du dem installer auchnoch verschiedene designs geben u.a. die oberfläche von installshield! eine " entwicklungsumgebung" gibt es dafür auch schon. wenn du allerdings effektiv programmieren willst musst du schon auf einen normalen editor zurückgreifen

Ja, aber wenn die BDE weitergeben werden muß, fällt diese Möglichkeit flach, da die BDE nur mit von Borland genehmigten Setups weitergegeben werden darf.

dann muss man halt 2 setups machen. das eine ist mit inno oder so gemacht und insalliert eine zweite setup exe die dann das BDE installiert !!!
na ja ein bisserl aufwändig wär das ja schon...

Nicht aufwändig, matze - Quatsch!
Dann lieber nur den Installer nehmen, der erlaubt ist. Das ist effizienter.
