Hallo!

Kennt jemand ein Tool mit dem ich Views im Firebird ändern kann (alter view kennt firebird nicht)

Warum dropst Du den View nicht und legst ihn dann neu an?

Drop geht nicht, weil die view bereits verwendet wird.

Das versteh ich nicht! Willst Du etwas den View zur Laufzeit des Programms aendern? Die einzige Situation, in der so was zulässig ist, ist wenn das Programm die Datenbank bei einem Update der Programmversion aktualisiert. Wenn noch andere Programme den selben View verwenden, dann ist das Update nicht durchführbar, so lange diese aktiv sind!

Nein nicht zur Programmlaufzeit.

Die View wird von einer SQL-Procedure verwendet und diese SQL-Procedure von einem Trigger usw.

In Firebird kannst Du nur löschen, wenn keine Abhänigkeiten bestehen (ist ja auch logisch), aber ich will in einer View eine Spalte einfügen.

Ich kenne dafür beim MSSQL "ALTER VIEW" und alles ist gut.
