Ich kenne die TBX-Komponenten nicht aus eigener Erfahrung, habe mir aber gerade mal die Screenshots vom Lanchat angesehen. Ich weiß nicht, ob es in der WPF schon eine Komponente für das Textfenster gibt, aber der Rest sollte kein wirkliches Problem sein. Du kannst da einfach die Standardkomponenten hernehmen und "umstylen". WPF ist leider sehr oft ein bisschen ... äh ... Gefriemel, aber ich halte es für absolut möglich mit der genannten Ausnahme das mit den eingebauten Komponenten zu machen.
Was Informationsmaterialien angeht, findest Du für spezielle Probleme immer mehr Lösungen, aber eine wirklich gute Einführung in der Prinzipien habe ich nicht gefunden. Ich habe daher in den sauren Apfel gebissen und mir ein Buch dazu gekauft, um eine gute Basis zu haben. Eine wirkliche Buchempfehlung kann ich Dir nicht geben. Mit meinem bin ich ganz gut klar gekommen, aber es ist nicht so der Renner, dass ich es weiter empfehlen würde
