Job Responsibilities:

Working on state of the art projects, supporting our design consultants and customers with the implementation of AR/VR solutions

• Working on state of the art projects, supporting our design consultants and customers with the implementation of AR/VR solutions
• Taking over the setup, sizing and configuration of PC Clusters
• Analyzing relevant systems and optimizing immersive realtime applications
• Designing and installing Demo Systems, including Hardware and Software
• Providing 3rd-level support of customer installations
• Ensuring the quality of AR/VR Systems before going life
• Ensuring assigned activities are completed within committed objectives, schedule and costs
• Researching the newest technology trends (e.g. tracking technology, interactive devices), recommending best practices and creating new and innovative ways to further improve solutions
• Maintaining and improving the AR/VR knowledge base to ensure systematic knowledge transfer within the team, department and corporation


Requirements:

Windows administration, AR/VR applications

• University degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics or comparable qualification, gained by means of respective work experience
• Profound knowledge in Windows administration
• Good scripting skills as well as experience with network administration are a plus
• Know-how in Augmented Reality applications (e.g. AR Toolkit, Metaio Unifey) and Virtual Reality applications (e.g. DELTAGEN, VRJuggler, WorldVi) strongly preferred
• Experience with tracking technologies (e.g. VRPN, dtrack) is an advantage
• Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel (appr. 20%)
• Very good English language skill; German language skills are preferred
