Hallo,
ganz einfach mit  SHELLEXECUTE (Unit ShellApi), wobei du als FileName den Ordner angibst...

is aber nicht so gut. denn wozu gibts denn dann explore ??
das muss doch irgendeinen vorteil haben !?

Ich glaube das open nur die Standartaktion ausführt und das explore in jeden Fall den Windows Explorer öffnet.

Und ich glaube, dass die Befehlszeilen in der Registry (s. HKCR\Folder\shell) grundsätzlich identisch sind, nur das "explore" zusätzlich den Parameter "/e" benutzt - was bedeutet, dass das Fenster links den Tree-View hat.
