For Microsoft offices in Munich we are currently looking for a Technology Solution Professional for Developer Tools.

The DPE team has highly specialized sales and technical contributors which are responsible for generating developer tools revenue & the adoption of the .NET platform.

Developer Tools and Technologies are the cornerstone of Microsoft’s .NET strategy and the primary responsibility will driving the win rate within assigned Developer Tools opportunities through delivery of technical sales engagements and therefore increasing sales, the attach rate to Microsoft’s Volume License business and adoption of Visual Studio tools, .NET and MSDN. The sales process will involve cross group collaboration with a number of Partners and internal resources including members of account teams, Services, Support, DSS, Developer Evangelist, Architecture Evangelist.

The Technology Solution Professional for Developer Tools is a role focused on driving developer revenue in Germany for all the segments: EPG (Global, Strategic, Major and Corporate accounts), Public and also bigger SMS&P accounts.

We are looking for a technology leader with great sales drive, who understands competition & market trends.

- You need to be seasoned presenter of sales and technical material & have the ability to drive enthusiasm around developer tools and our platform.
- Having fun being at customer sites and delivering great presentations and demos. Being able to adapt presentation skills to different target audiences (from developers to CIOs).
- Proven pre-sales and/or sales experience in IT-Industry, preferably in developer tools market.
- Strong sales drive & having fun winning against the competition.
- A very good understanding of the developer tools market, including competitive tools and strategies is a must. Good knowledge of the .NET Framework and CLR would be advantageous.
- Build and maintain deep understanding of: Architectural concepts, issues, and trends; Microsoft architectural vision and roadmap; Developer life-cycle, Microsoft enterprise developer tools strategy, including Visual Studio & .NET Frameworks.
- Caring for customers and being accountable is the natural way you work.
- You like to work in a young dynamic and passionate team. You are motivated by the great opportunities we have to change the Software Developer Life Cycle market in Germany with Visual Studio 2005.
- Excellent German language & fluent English and skills are required
