Hallo allerseits !
aufgrund von mehreren Beiträgen in diesem Forum habe ich ein Test-Utility zusammengebaut. Es wird in dieser Form sicher nicht veröffentlicht. Mir geht es jedoch darum, ob die Angaben bei möglichst vielen PC's stimmen. Das heisst: Bitte ausprobieren und rückmelden, wenn irgendwo falsche Angaben kommen. Ich habe selbst nicht die Möglichkeit, auf 10 - 20 PC's die Angaben zu überprüfen.

Keine Probleme.
Das Programm erkennt den i5-Prozessor, die korrekten Werte des Speichers und Windows 8.1.

alles ok, passt zu Process Explorer; der Processor ist ein Athlon 800 MHz.

unter wine 1.7.7 32-Bit, auf Linux 64 Bit:

Das hat nichts mit AMD Phenom II X 955 (0,8..3,2 Ghz cool&quite an ) zu tuen, ber wenigtens stürzt es nicht ab ;.)

Das Testprogramm läuft nur unter Windows korrekt. Linux unterstützt es nicht.

Die Arbeitsspeicher-Angabe stimmt leider nicht. Ich habe 4 x 1 GB Riegel verbaut. Windows zeigt mir auch die richtigen 4,00 GB an.

Wieviel Speicher zeigt der Taskmanager an ? Nicht der installierte, verbaute Speicher, sondern den tatsächlich freien Speicher und den totalen ?

Je nach Mainboard sind aber nur zwischen 3 und 3,5 GiB nutzbar. Davon geht noch der Grafikspeicher ab. Deine Werte lassen mich vermuten, dass du eine OnBoard Grafikkarte mit Shared Memory nutzt.
Klar ist, dass du unter 32-Bit normalerweise keine 4 GiB nutzbaren Speicher haben kannst, es sei denn du hast manuell getrickst und ein passendes Mainboard.

Installiere dir doch ein OS mit 64bit?
Ich bin mit meinem frisch installierten Windows 8.1 sehr zufrieden bisher ^^
Die neuen Sounds hab ich aussortiert und die Metro-Oberfläche hab ich etwas in den Hintergrund geschoben, aber das ist ja schnell getan.

Eine blöde Frage: Kann man die Onboard - Karte nicht deaktivieren, so dass sie keinen Speicher mehr braucht ? Du brauchst ja vor allem die Geforce 9800 GT.

Ja geht, einfach im BIOS deaktivieren (oder aber auf minimalen Wert setzen, z.B. 32 MB).

Weil 64-Bit Betriebssysteme ein paar hundert MiB mehr Speicher verbrauchen und es nicht immer alle Treiber gab. Das sollte heute keine Probleme mehr machen, aber da 64-Bit an sich für die meisten Benutzer keine zwingenden Vorteile bietet...
Dass die kompletten 4 GiB nicht nutzbar sind, steht bei diesen Komplett-PCs aber auch dabei.
Ich persönlich habe noch nie einen Komplett-PC gekauft, insofern habe ich das passende Betriebssystem auch immer selbst ausgesucht.
