läuft Delphi XE2 unter Windows 8 64 Bit problemlos ?

Solange du nicht debuggen willst. Das geht dort nämlich vermutlich gar nicht, da es unter Windows 7 64-Bit auch nicht geht. Ich glaube dafür gab es auch kein Update, das ging erst mit XE3, aber sicher bin ich da nicht.

Aber unter Windows 8 32 Bit geht das Debuggen ?

Ich habe XE2 nirgends länger benutzt, das war die einzige ausgelassene Version bei uns seit XE. Selbst kann ich dazu daher nichts sagen.
Die Probleme wurden aber nur in der 64-Bit Version diskutiert, deshalb gehe ich davon aus.

Also ich habe hier XE2 und W7/64, da funktioniert das Debuggen

Ich habe noch einmal nachgelesen. Die Probleme gibt es nur beim Debuggen von 64-Bit Anwendungen und wohl auch nur bei einigen, nicht bei allen. Mit 32-Bit Anwendungen funktioniert es.

Es wäre ja auch schlimm, wenn man den Debugger gar nicht mehr benützen könnte ! Viele Fehler würden so nie mehr gefunden; ich bin eh drauf angewiesen ! Besonders dann, wenn die verwendeten Variablen "komische" Werte annehmen ...
