Hallo @all!
Ich weiß nicht wie oft diese Frage schon woanders gestellt wurde, aber, da ich sie hier nicht gefunden habe, will ich sie dann mal stellen:
Wenn man den InternetExplorer 6 unter Windows XP laufen lässt, so werden die Buttons etc. im WindowsXP-Style angezeigt. Manuell kann man das für ältere Browser durch folgenden META-Tag erreichen:

Theoretisch könnt man statt Seite laden, die Seite speichern und dann diesen META-Tag einfügen und die Seite dann anzeigen. Das würde aber zusätzliche Ladezeit bedeuten und wer kein WinXP hat, der hat Arschkarte...
In der Komponente TEmbedWB (oder so ähnlich), die ich nutze, gibt es irgendeine Funktion "Header", aber das klappt auch nicht. Vielleicht hat einer von euch einer eine Idee!

Hi, also ich hab dieses Problem mit dem TWebBrowser, in der Komponente wird nämlcih nur der alte Style angezeigt (unter WinXP), der oben genannte META-Tag hat bei mir nich funktioniert, trotz des Meta-Tags zeigt die WebBrowserkompo den alten style...

? Keine Ahnung wieso ?
Also, bei mir funzt das, aber wenn ich das so machen würde, wie beschrieben, dann aber wären die Ladezeiten fast doppelt so lang/groß...

also bei mir gings im TWebBrowser weder mit noch ohne Mata-Tag (ich habe einfach eine testseite mit dem Tag gemacht) nicht

bei mir genauso: so funzt beides nicht, würde mich auch mal interressieren, wie man Twebbrowser unter XP im neuen Stxle bekommt

Komisch, bei mir funzt das mit dem Meta-Tag, aber im TWebBrowser nicht... Habt ihr den Meta-Tag eigentlich im Head-Bereich eingefügt?

meta-tags kommen immer in den <head> bereich

Schon klar, aber hätte ja sein können...
Aber trotzdem: Hat denn niemand eine Idee? Ich habe vorhin mal den Source einer Website aus dem Netz per FileStream geladen und dann den META-Tag eingefügt und gespeichert (auf der Festplatte)... Es funktioniert, aber die Ladezeiten schossen in die Höhe wie sonst was.

wieso funktioniert es.. wen ich den metatag einfüge passiert nix.. hab zwar nur mit einer lokalen datei getestet aber es ist dann ncih anders als wen ich die page per filestream lade...
ausderdem wer will schon lanbge ladezeiten :p

Das ist es ja, darum suche ich nach einer anderen (besseren) Methode (meinetwegen auch eine andere Kompo)!
Keine Ahnung, warum das bei dir so ist und bei mir nicht... Du kannst ja mal auf meine Site gehen und dir die Kontakt-Seite ansehen. Bei mir sieht man dann den XP-Style (natürlich nur unter XP ). Kannst ja mal testen, ob bei dir auch...

naja klar das dein form XP-mäßig angezeigt wird.. werden ja alle andren auch, nur halt nicht in der WebBrowserKompo
des is zum verzweifeln.. *gg*

Ich nutze ja auch eine TWebBrowser-Kompo. OK, aber das eine direkte Ableitung (Unter TWebBrowser funzt das auch...)!
