I'm looking for code/ideas for a new project. The application will play for internet TV (IPTV) broadcasts. Most of the TV feeds are encoded in Window Media Player format:

A few are in RealMedia format.

How can I play asf/asx streams in Delphi?

You could use the windows media player control, which is delivered with the player itself:
