ich wollte mal fragen, was eigentlich so der Standard ist, um Datenstrukturen zu übertragen, und Parameter an Server für externe Funktionen zu schicken...
Hatte mal von XML-RPC gehört, weiß aber nicht, ob das Standard ist...

ob es "Standard" ist, weiss ich nicht, aber das von dir bereits erwähnte XML - RPC funktioniert sehr gut; habe eben ein Projekt damit fertiggestellt. Infos z.B. hier www.xmlrpc.com/.

Vorteil ist, dass es ohne 'Zusätze' auskommt, man braucht nur TCPIP/HTTP und einen XML - Parser.

Also Standards gibts für sowas wie Sand am Meer - speziell im Bereich für RPCs:
- JRMI, CORBA, WSDL, XML-RPC, JSON ...

Find leider grad den einen Post nicht, wo jemand SOAP mal richtig schön auseinander nimmt ... Falls ich ihn noch finde, reich ich ihn nach.
