Hallo Leute,

ich versuche mit einem Programm auf eine MySQL-Datenbank zuzugreifen. Nur leider bei jedem Versuch mich darauf zu connecten, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung :

Wer kann mir da weiterhelfen ?

Hi,

vieleicht könnte jemand helfen, wenn du das Bild angezeigt würde. Ich bekomme da leider nur einen broken Link. Vieleicht schreibst du einfach den Text in's Forum, dann kann das nicht passieren ;).

Sorry, hatte gerade meinen Web-Server durchstarten müssen. Sollte jetzt wieder funktionieren.

Sollte das Bild immer noch nicht angezeigt werden hier die Fehlermeldung :

Error 20013 : Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Wenn ich lokal auf die Datenbanken zugreifen will, funktioniert alles ohne Probleme nur von einem anderen Rechner nicht im Netzwerk.

Die Remote-Connection ist nicht das Problem. Du müsstest in der my.cnf die Connection-Parameter ändern. Je nach Userzahl etc. ist das sehr individuell. Hier mal eine von unseren:

Und bevor jemand schreit, dass man das so nicht machen darf: Man darf, wenn es sich um eine Offline-Anwendung handelt und nicht mit PHP darauf zugegriffen wird...

Ich danke Dir erstmal für Deine Antwort. Ich werde das mal ausprobieren. Ich habe nur eine Frage vorweg, wenn ich das ganze konfiguriere, kann ich dann trotzdem noch mit PHP auf die MySQL-Datenbank zugreifen oder nicht ?

Ja.

Allerdings solltest Du dann versuchen, geöffnete Verbindungen zur mySQL-Datenbank selbst wieder zu schließen sobald die Abfrage zu Ende ist, weil Du ansonsten relativ schnell die MaxConnections erreichst.

Danke für Deine Hilfe, aber irgendwie funktioniert das ganze nicht mit der Datei my.cnf. Ich besitze garnicht so eine Datei.

Die liegt bei Linux unter /etc/my.cnf oder /etc/mysql/my.cnf. Auf Windows-Rechnern heißt sie my.ini. Welche mySQL-Version hast Du drauf?

Wichtig ist, danach mit

ausblenden Quelltext

/etc/init.d/mysql restart					


die Datenbank neu zu starten!

Wenn Du die Datei nicht findest, dann mach mal einen updatedb auf der Konsole und dann ein locate my.cnf. Dann zeigt er Dir die Position an.

wenn ich locate my.cnf mache, findet er keine Datei. Ich habe die Version MySQL 4.0.6 gamma drauf.

Hehe, die installiert dann wohl keine mit.

Schick mir mal ne PN mit Deiner eMail-Adresse, dann bekommst ne my.cnf von mir und schmeisst die ins /etc/-Verzeichnis.
