Win 98 SE, Win XP Home

Hallo Leute,

läßt sich mit D- 2005/6 .NET auch unter XP - Home programmieren oder gibt es Einschränkungen oder geht es garnicht? Die meisten "fertigen" PCs werden ja mit der Home-Edition ausgeliefert.

Mir sind keine Einschränkungen bekannt. Ich nutze es sowohl unter XP-Prof, als auch unter der Home-Variante.

Ich lese, dass .NET Framework nur mit XP-Pro funktoniert.
Klar, wenn ich Win32 benutze, wird es gehen.

weil der IIS (webserver von M$) nur bei der prof version ausgeliefert wird. daher ist hier die einschränkung in der web entwicklung

.Net-Programme laufen sogar unter Win 98, wenn das Framework installiert ist. Das meine ich nicht. Microsoft verlangt für .NET Win XP Prof als "Programmierumgebung" - so habe ich es gelesen. Oder ist falsch!

Du kannst definitiv DotNET-Programme auch mit XP Home entwickeln.
Für Webanwendungen musst Du den bei Delphi mitgelieferten "Cassini"-Webserver verwenden, da - wie gesagt, der IIS bei XP Home nicht mitgeliefert wird.
