Hallo zusammen,

da ja der QReport in Delphi7 nicht automatisch am Start ist, wollt ich den, laut delpiswisscenter-forum, selber durch Doppelklick auf "qrpt70.bpl" installieren.
was aber nicht funzt, und zwar mit 2erlei fehlermeldungen:

1. starte ich erst delphi, und gehe über "components" und "install packages". Dort auf den Add-Button gedrückt und aus dem Windows\system32-Verzeichnis die Datei "qrpt70.bpl" ausgewählt. Fehler: .... cannont be installed cause is not a designtime-package.

2. nicht delphi starten, sondern doppelklick auf die besagte datei. delphi startet also automatisch, und meldet mir: Unable to find package source C:windows\system3²\qrpt70.bpl or compiled package c:\windows\system32\qrpt70.bpl.

kann mir da einer weiterhelfen? hab jetzt auch delphi nochmal neuinstalliert, passiert das gleiche... nix zu machen... bin schon beinahe am verzweifeln..

folgendes habe ich im Verzeichnis "..\Borland\Delphi7\Demos\Quickrpt" gefunden:

The Quick Reports package is not installed in the IDE by default. To run these demos you must first install dclqrt70.bpl. To install, go to the IDE menu and select the "Component" menu item. From there, select "Install Packages". In the dialog select the "Add" button and then browse to the \bin directory of Delphi (default location is c:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\bin). Select the file named dclqrt70.bpl. The QuickReport pacakge is now installed and you can run the example programs.

.. warum find ich sowas nie? ....

auf jedenfall ein großes dankeschön! nächste mal werd ich augen genauer fragen!
