I have four scales in my shop and I update the weighted items in the memory using serial communication.

These scales also support ethernet communication.
My PC has IP address 192.168.0.1 and the I set up the scales to have IP address 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.3 - 192.168.0.4 - 192.168.0.5

How can I estabish communication with the scales via ethernet in order to send the updated weighted items?

You mean with scale a device for weighing items? I'm sure, you will find the appropriate method for communicating with them in the developer's manual. What brand are the scales?

If they support Ethernet, they all have to have MAC addresses. If your scales support IP or higher level protocols, you can use the IP address to send data to them. The higher the layer the easier the communication . If they do not support any higher level protocol, find out their MAC addresses and send Layer 2 (Ethernet) frames directly to them
