Hallo zusammen,

ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Datenbanksystem welches Lokal laufen kann,
eine Authentisierung auf Benutzerebene erlaubt, und die Daten verschlüsselt ablegt.

Ich habe die Access-DBs gefunden, allerdings weiß ich nicht so richtig...
Was freies wäre mir lieber...

Kennt jemand sowas?

Nahezu jedes aktuelle DBMS erfüllt diese Forderung nach der Authentifizierung auf Benutzer-Ebene. Ein sehr schön schlanker Server ist hier MySQL, der sich auch mit Delphi recht gut ansprechen lässt. Wie das dort mit der Verschlüsslung aussieht, weiß ich nicht.

Ich meinte mit lokaler Datenbank, dass ich keinen Server installieren will, auch nicht lokal.

Kennt da jemand irgendwas gutes?

musst mir mal erklären, warum du die userverwaltung in die db legen willst? macht IMHO nur in ganz wenigen fällen sinn. dagegen find ich es für sinnvoll, wenn die datenbank verschlüsselt ist ... und dein progy eine userverwaltung mitbringt... :-)

überlegs dir doch mal...

Ja, das wäre auch in Ordnung.
Allerdings kenn ich auch in diesem Falle leider keine Datenbank die sowas beherrscht.

Kennst Du evlt. eine Datenbank?

ich weiss dass es mit access geht. müsst aber auch firebird gehen, mit mssql ab version 2005 (also auch die express edition).

soll es denn mit oder ohne installation laufen und wie sensibel sind die daten?

Mit Access würde es natürlich gehen, dass ist richtig, aber wie in meinem obersten Post, was Freies wäre mir lieber.
Ich möchte keinen Server installieren.
Es könnte mit Firebird gehen? Das wäre interessant, allerdings auch hier wenn es geht nur ohne Server.
Ich hatte es mit Firebird probiert (in Process Mode), allerdings wird dort weder die Datenbank verschlüsselt,
noch ein Benutzername/Passwort verlangt, somit kann man mit einem Datenbankmanagmenttool einfach
auf die Daten zugreifen und auslesen. Genau das will ich verhindern.

Es sind Daten eines Vereines. Aus diesem Grund natürlich nicht ganz so sensibel, allerdings
sollten Sie zwecks Datenschutz schon geschützt sein.
