Hi!

Da ich im mOment viel mit Client/Server arbeite , wäre es gut die Programme WIE übers Internet testen zu können und nicht lokal (wie halöt bei normalen Benutzer Bedingungen).
Aber leider hab ich nicht immer die Gelegenheit das Programm jemandemn zu schicken.

Erst kürzlich hab ich einen Fehler nicht entdeckt, weil er lokal durch den kleinen Ping nicht zu merken war ,erst als ich das Program jemanden geschickt hab kam er zum Vorschein! Das war sehr ärgerlich!

Ich hab schon überlegt das mit VirtualPC zu machen aber das arbeitet ja dann auch im lokalen Netzwerk und ist ja dann fsast das selbe wie wenn ich es auf meinem eigenen Pc teste!!


Hat jemand ne Idee?

Ich habe keine Lösung parat, aber da das ein öfter genanntes Problem ist, sollte es auch eine dafür geben.
Vielleicht findest du unter den frei verfügbaren Proxy-Servern so eine Funktion, oder du schreibst dir mit Indy selbst einen.

Du könntest einen Socket-Proxy bauen und die Daten verzögert weiterleiten. :nixweiss:

Also ich gehe mal davon aus, dass du (da du ins Delphi Forum geschrieben hast) eine Software testen möchtest, die in Delphi programmiert wurde.
Wenn du bei dieser Software jetzt auch noch die INDY Komponenten verwendet hast, ist das eh kein Problem. Denn es gibt bei den INDYs eine Komponente, die eine langsame Internetverbindung simulieren kann.

Ach tatsächlich? Habe jetzt nix gefunden was irgendwie so aussehen könnte.. Wie heisst die Komponente denn???

Ich hab jetzt kein Delphi da, aber die müsste igrgendwas mit Throttler heissen und in dem Misc-Ordner drin sein.
