Hallo!

Seit heute morgen versuche ich schon, Delphi zu installieren. Und spätestens jetzt fängt Vista an, mich zu nerven. :roll: Mein Delphi 2006 meldet mir, dass das .NET Framework 1.1 nicht installiert werden kann. Toll. Denke ich mir: Ich könnte natürlich das .NET Framework 3 installieren. Aber abgesehen davon arbeite ich sonst auch gerne mal mit Delphi 7 -> schneller und einfacher. Deshalb habe ich die Delphi2006-Installation erstmal vertagt und mich an die D7-Installation gemacht. Aber hier erscheint beim Programmstart die Meldung:

Und kein Formular und kein Code-Editor wird erzeugt.

Nun, OK: Dass man ins Programmverzeichnis nicht schreibt, ist mir klar (der Pfad, der geschrieben werden sollte, befand sich im Programm-Verzeichnis). Aber was muss ich machen, damit es läuft? Ich nehme mal an, dass ich nicht der Einzige bin, der dieses Problem hatte.

Delphi 2006 ging bei mir absolut problemlos unter Vista. Ich benutze aber auch wegen der Geschwindigkeit die 32-Bit-Version, unter 64-Bit gab es schon bei einigen Probleme.
Hast du es denn automatisch versucht oder manuell? Ich hatte die automatische Installation ja beschrieben:

Ich habe jetzt die Verknüpfung so angepasst, dass Delphi in einem beschreibbaren Verzeichnis ausgeführt wird:

edit: Wegen Delphi 2006: Keine Ahnung, hab nie was von automatisch / manuell gehört. Ist aber kein TurboDelphi, sondern ein 'richtiges' Delphi 2006. Und als erstes wollte er halt das .NET Framework installieren.

Ich seh schon, 64-Bit, das erklärt die Probleme mit D2006. Das wäre mir zu langsam. ;-)

Jedenfalls kannst du Delphi einfach einmal mit Adminrechten starten, danach sollte es ohne normal gehen. So hatte ich es ja auch geschrieben bzw. im Video gezeigt.

Das ist ja auch komisch: Ich bin schon als Administrator angemeldet (hatte nach den Installationsversuchen noch nicht neu-gebootet, weil ich sowieso mit einer Neuinstallation gerechnet habe), und muss es trotzdem als Admin starten.

Das bringt dir relativ wenig. AFAIR sind .NET 1, 2 und 3 nicht kompatibel zueinander. Galt zumindest für 1 und 2.

Ja, aber auch als Admin hast du ja nicht Adminrechte. Die UAC meldet sich ja trotzdem. Und bei mir ging es dann auch nach dem ersten Start mit Adminrechten problemlos ohne beim nächsten Start.

Probleme gibt es nur, wenn man sehr risikofreudig ist und die UAC deaktiviert hat. Dann funktioniert einiges nicht. Aber so ist das ja auch nicht gedacht.

Das ist richtig. 1.1 muss explizit auch installiert werden inkl. SP1, aber das macht der prereqs Installer eigentlich automatisch.

Aber auch nur für 1, 1.1 und 2. Ab 2 gilt das nicht mehr.

Nun ja, für die selbe Operation statt ca. 37 Minuten unter 32-Bit sind es unter 64-Bit 56 Minuten (selber PC)...
Da ging es um die Bearbeitung von Videos von meinem Fotoapparat. Seitdem nutze ich erst einmal nur 32-Bit bis ich genug Programme habe, die nativ für 64-bit kompiliert wurden...

Na dann... Ich sehe gerade, dass .NET 3 ja schon bei Vista enthalten ist... und dafür lade ich mir das Teil 12 min. runter. :autsch:

Aber was mache ich jetzt? Kann man denn das 1.1 parallel noch installieren? Und wenn ja, was muss ich machen, damit auch mein Vista die Installation ausführt?

Es sollte ja wie oben von Diversen bereits beschrieben automatisch in den Prereqs mitinstalliert werden, und wenn ich den ersten Post korrekt interpretiere, wird das auch versucht, schlägt aber fehl. Nichtsdestoweniger sollte man wohl probieren, es mal manuell zu installieren.
Wobei er jetzt ja eh D7 nimmt.

Dass ich D7 bevorzuge, ist richtig, aber irgendwann will ich auch mal die Vorteile einer Professional Version genießen.

Ich probiere morgen mal, das .NET 1.1 mit Service Pack 1 zu installieren. Oder könnte man vielleicht den Prerequisites-Installer von Turbo Delphi Explorer dazu missbrauchen. :mrgreen:

Ich vermute das geht wegen 64-Bit nicht. Unter 32-Bit funktioniert die automatische Installation aller Prerequisites problemlos.

Was hat 64-bit damit zu tun?

Die Installation ist ja ausführbar, ich bekomme halt nur eine Meldung, dass es bekannte Kompatibilitätsprobleme gibt. Aber angeblich sollen ja mit SP1 alle bei 64-bit auftretenden Probleme gelöst sein. Wäre sonst sehr beschi**en...

Ich dachte für 64-Bit gäbe es separate Installationen für .NET. Wenn das die selben sind, dann sollte es auch mit der prereqs.exe gehen (vorausgesetzt du hast die Dateien entsprechend auf der Platte). Die Meldung zu bekannten Kompatibilitätsproblemen kann man ja einfach wegklicken, das sollte dann weiter installiert werden. :gruebel:

Ja, das ist mir heute auch aufgefallen, dass man die Meldung wegklicken kann. Aber Microsoft schreibt das ja sicher nicht ohne Grund hin. Jedenfalls geht die Installation. Hab allerdings nur bis zur Lizenz geklickt, aus zeitlichen Gründen.

Diese Kompatibilitätsmeldung kommt bei Delphi 7 normalerweise ja auch. Beide Programme schreiben leider noch in das aktuelle Arbeitsverzeichnis bzw. das Verzeichnis der Exe. Delphi 7 gleich alle neuen Projekte ins Arbeitsverzeichnis, Delphi 2006 die Desktopkonfigurationen ins Verzeichnis der Exe.

Da bei Delphi 2006 die Meldung unter 32-Bit nicht kommt, vermute ich aber, dass es da unter 64-Bit andere Probleme gibt. Es gab dazu auch schon Threads, sowohl zu Problemen unter Vista 64-Bit als auch unter Windows 7 64-Bit (und bei Win 7 auch 32-Bit, aber das ist in der RTM wohl nicht mehr so).
